You Can Truly Rest Assured
Do you ever rest assured? There are seasons when we are called to toil for a righteous cause or purpose. There are seasons when we are called to create and build. Then there are seasons when we are called to rest, completely. Meaning we are to cease toiling, building, surrender all concerns, and rest our entire being to be restored/prepared for the next season. However, we may rest physically yet still not rest assured during that season. From a spiritual perspective, rest assured means to rest with a steadfast knowing that all is well, all is working together for your good, and that what is destined for you cannot be hindered. An alternative practical meaning of rest assured is that something is true or certain.
Encouragement spree… Rest assured that your season of greatness is coming. Rest assured that trials are temporary and that they will pass. Rest assured that God’s love for you is unwavering. Rest assured that your latter will be greater than your former. Rest assured that while you completely rest to be prepared, God is fighting your battles and putting things in place for you. Rest assured that you will be delivered from what is consuming you. Rest assured that you can be your most authentic self and the world will make room for you. Affirm the ways in which you can rest assured over yourself and stand in faith on those affirmations. Resting assured is the common ground where faith and rest meet. Make a choice to take on full rest in your mind, body, and soul.
