Discovering your area of excellence and designing actionable steps to strive toward more professional fulfillment is the purpose of the Professional Joy Zone. It is important to place emphasis on sincerely loving the work that you do, reason being that it is one of the areas we spend most of our time. Take note of the kind of work that makes you light up, you find yourself getting lost in, and that naturally comes to you. What industry, ministry, or line of work do you find deeply enthralling? Once you decide that you can no longer ignore the calling then it is important to make a plan for it to become your full-time vocation. Speaking from experience, enduring transitions within my career path and discovering an unknown talent for Software Development started out as a huge challenge. Staying focused, keeping the faith in the process (sometimes it was a mustard seed), and putting in the necessary work has been worth it. Coaching clients through a career path transition is a sweet spot for me because I highly value such a worthwhile journey. Discovering your zone of excellence will add to your personal gratification and leads to more professional joy.
