Elevation Requires A Mindset Shift
We have heard this saying in many variations, new levels will require a new version of you. It is a worthy phrase to repeat and recall when we are striving toward our next level. Elevation will require you to first prepare by shifting your mindset so that the next level version of you is able to sustain, cherish, and endure it. Foremost, it is important to examine your current level (what went well, what did not go well, what could you do differently/improve). Next reflection point, write down what your ideal next level looks like in each area of your life or the area you are focused on elevating (spiritual, professional, relational, relationship with yourself, etc.). Surveying the current level of your life will help you identify the mental strongholds or beliefs that you will have to work on releasing. The intention is to activate your mindset shift.
Elevation means a high place or position; synonymous with the words promotion, upgrading, advancement, and rise. The purpose of shifting your mindset is to be able to handle the expansion that elevation demands. You will be required to increase your mental strength, agility, and beliefs. You will be required to increase in self-authority, graciousness, and faithfulness. You will have to rise up in order to conquer the next level and the grandness that will come with it. It is by our own volition to decide to live a life of complacency or to choose elevation throughout the course of our life. Know that abundance is your birthright but you must shift your mindset in order to tap into all that God has for you.
