What are the core sabotaging habits that get in your way? The kind of habits that get in the way of your advancement, dreams, growth, connections, and ultimately elevating your life. The core self-sabotaging actions and thought patterns that hinder you from taking hold of opportunities, resources, and connections that present themselves. We all have them because well we are humans with limited beliefs and past experiences that have a lasting impact on us. Nonetheless, there comes a time when you have to face yourself and question if you are the actual stumbling block preventing you from rising.
Recently the question, in what ways are you getting in your way?, crossed my mind and left me pondering. I knew it was important to carve out some journaling time to dive deeper into this question to identify root habits and thoughts. The best way to course correct yourself is by dedicating time to take an honest look within to heighten your awareness then to chart a course of actions that override your self-sabotaging ways. Sometimes you have to feel the fear or resistance and choose the different path anyway. When you receive an offer that will positively stretch you to your next level, move around your self-defeating habit of not believing you are capable and say yes to learning along the way. When someone you are interested in being friends with makes a bid for connection, move around the habit to shy away instead lean into connecting. You have to decide to move around the habits, the thoughts, and the old ways of sabotaging yourself in order to elevate. Start shifting your identity and seeing yourself as the major key to unlocking levels of your evolution.
