Cherish Your Life

As of late, I have been sharing the message about the importance of cherishing your life whenever I feel compelled. Cherishing your life is important because it will joyfully transform how you approach life. The reality is, a vast amount of people in modern society do not cherish their life. Most are grappling with the strength to endure this rollercoaster. We are equipped to conquer each specific life challenge assigned to us and we are not to be subdued by it, but to evolve in spite of it. Conquering each challenge, overcoming the bad days that tried to take you out, and still standing throughout it all is reason enough to cherish your life. You are worthy of celebrating every intricacy that makes up your life. Yes, every single detail of your life deserves to be cherished.

Cherish each breath you take and the ability to breathe on your own. Cherish the voice you were gifted with and the ability to use it to speak/affirm. Cherish the victories, deliverance from strongholds, and rising up to greet new beginnings after sorrowful endings. Cherish the big and small gifts of thoughtfulness someone offers you. Cherish being you, exactly as you are for such a time as this. Cherish indulging in foods that delight your taste buds. Cherish new experiences that ignites your wonder, sparks curiosity, and broadens your horizon. Cherish your time and steward it well with your whole heart. Cherish each moment of joy by being fully present to immerse yourself in it and allow yourself to linger in it a little bit longer. May this inspire you to reflect on the importance of cherishing your life. Most of all, allow this impartation to press upon you the desire to cherish your life in new ways.

Joy Gem: Cherish My Life Challenge | a. Designate a Cherish My Life Journal for the challenge b. Reflect & write an aspect of your life you are cherishing for the day (choose a different one each day) c. List the reasons you are grateful for it & why you cherish it d. Identify how you will mindfully cherish it throughout the day

Ex. a. Today I will cherish my home and how I exist in my own space. b. I am grateful to have a home that is safe, warm, and suits all of my needs. I cherish my home because it is a blessing to have a place to come back to after being out in the world. c. I will mindfully cherish my space throughout the day by keeping it clean/organized, lighting candles, inviting family into my home for dinner, and speaking blessings over it.
