Allow Life to Move Forward
One of the most grounding true-isms in life is that it goes on. Life does not pause. Life is not a tree planted in one place or one moment in time. Life keeps going because change is the perpetual current that keeps flowing. On the contrary, your life can plateau or remain in stagnant cycles by your conscious choice to continue on with the same course of action. We are not limited to our current circumstances and we are not held captive to the idea that we have to remain planted in unfruitful territory. Your personal will power lies in making the choice to move your life forward in the face of adversity, mitigating thoughtless habits, leaving life draining situations or relationships, making hard decisions that may hurt your heart momentarily yet restore your soul over time, and when you intuitively feel the notion that it is time for a shift. It is an act of self-preservation to not allow fear or the what-if worries to hold your life back from moving forward.
Moving forward is a combination of having the courage to adapt to the new and expressing gratitude for what the last chapter of life has instilled in you. New paths will require not only the next version of you, but also a higher level of effort to see it through. Consider this, what are your options if you deny the call to move forward? What are you sacrificing in an effort to remain where you are genuinely unfulfilled? How is your laboring to try to control the outcomes of inevitable changes impacting you mentally and emotionally? In essence, practice the art of allowing life to move forward. Bask in the beauty of unimaginable surprises that change brings. We hold the authority to either fight change at the expense of exhausting our energy or to embrace change. May this inspire you to greet change with open arms. You are encouraged to be boldly decisive about invariably moving your life forward. Remember, forward always!
Joy Gem: “The only thing a person can ever really do is keep moving forward. Take that big leap forward without hesitation, without once looking back. Simply forget the past and forge toward the future.” -Alyson Noel
