Your New Life Will Cost You

Necessary endings will precede when something new is about to be ushered into your life. When you set the intention that you are ready to walk into a new life and that you are ready to shed the shell of your old self. Life will preemptively start pruning you of your old life. Your old life could be a combination of dead connections, lack-mindset, unproductive habits, outdated beliefs, an unfulfilling career path, and anything that has been blocking the new from entering. You will have to make peace with the fact that your new life will cost you many things and accept the grief that will accompany the transitional period. It is natural to grieve, resist, and mourn during the shedding that will take place. You are encouraged to allow yourself to feel it and process it, but do not allow yourself to stay there beyond the appointed time of mourning.

Think about what is no longer working in your life that you are absolutely fed up with that is causing your soul to demand a change. That is the exact thing your new life is going to cost you. It is a worthy cost to pay for a better, more joyful, and fulfilling life. You have full autonomy to choose the way you live, the way you treat yourself, the choices you make, and the things you allow in your life. Ask yourself if you are graced to live a century, would you want your life to remain the way it is currently or start moving in the direction of a new life that is fruitful and fulfilling? With that in mind, start making conscious decisions that nurtures your new life. For example, if in your current life you practice self-abandonment out of fear of being abandoned by people then to move toward your new life you work on healing the wound that is causing you to perpetuate it. Couple that with making radical self-affirming decisions that rewire your ability to no longer self-abandon. In this example, your new life is costing you an outdated fear in order to usher in healthier relationship dynamics that will not cause you to self-abandon. There are many prices we have to pay in this lifetime, but the costs that come with walking into your new life is rewarding.
